1st Annual Bear Baseball 5K Home Run Road Race

I just wanted to send out a quick note of thanks to all who helped out Saturday morning with the 5K fundraiser. The day ran smoothly (no pun intended) because of your efforts in getting set up, working registration, moving food, and in the various other areas that are not mentioned. Thanks to those who baked muffins for the runners to enjoy and to those who brought breakfast for the players who did their part to help. Though the turnout was not quite as big as we had hoped when we began this process we still fielded almost 100 runners/walkers and all went according schedule. I feel sure that there will be a financial report made at the next booster club meeting with the final dollar amount raised, so don’t miss it! If you could not make it for some reason I feel sure there will be many other opportunities for you to offer your volunteer services, so be on the lookout.

HOCO Hitting Clinic

Thanks to all who participated in HOCO's Hitting Clinic, it went very well. The turnout was good considering the cold weather. We had 24 kids that had a great time working on hitting skills with several current and former professional players.
